Description

Chili Dog With Sour Cream & Cilantro. A good Chili Dog! I dare you not to appreciate it! There are many variations in Chili Dogs but I favour a recipe including the fresh taste of sour cream and the typical  taste of Cilantro. Feel free to experiment with my Chili Con Carne recipe. Taste differs from person to person anyways. Enjoy!

Directions

1
Prepare a cup of chili con carne. Of course you should prepare more. Eating chili con carne today, leave a cup for tomorrows hotdogs ;-)
2
For my chili con carne recipe I use ground beef, red pepper, onions, fresh garlic, corn, kidney beans, pineapple, tomato paste and a mix of spices including paprika, dried coriander, ground cumin seeds, garlic powder and salt.
3
Bring a pan of water up to a simmer and boil the hotdogs for about 5 minutes.
4
When the hotdogs are ready, take them out of the water, pat them dry and place them on a grill or in a pan.
5
Cook the dogs until browned for about 5 to 8 minutes, turning a few times.
6
In the meantime, cut the buns open and lightly grill them as well.
7
Preheat a frying pan and add the prepared chili con carne.
8
Cook the chili con carne for about 4 minutes.
9
When the hotdogs are browned, place them in the buns and add the chili con carne on top.
10
Top it with sweet chili sauce and sour cream.
11
Complete it with some sprigs of cilantro on top.
